The property is intimate enough that our personalised service is the benchmark for Swahili hospitality on the Kenyan coast. The resort is perched on a cliff overlooking turquoise water fringed by an uncrowded and unspoilt powder-white beach. You can take a long barefoot walk or dip in the sea at high tide, leaving all worries at bay. The sunsets here are breathtaking and provide the perfect backdrop for watching fishermen sail past on traditional boats.

Our Story
Encounter sheer, unpretentious paradise in this 38 room resort opened in April 2017 and owned by a Kenyan family. In each of the 38 rooms, tasteful art by a Kenyan painter hangs above furniture by local carpenters, each hand picked or approved by the owners in support of the local community. As champions for the environment and sustainability, their ethos carries through to the materials used in construction. Living areas are intentionally made comfortable, spacious and private with all the desired trappings of a home away from home, while maintaining a harmonious balance with nature.
Design
With chalk-white walls, soft arches and flat roofs, the architecture here seamlessly blends Mediterranean and Swahili design offset by brightly coloured tropical flowers, neatly manicured gardens and towering palm trees. It is as scenic to behold as it is to photograph. A large pool which winds its way across the center of the property is the pièce de résistance. Villas are impeccably made to take advantage of the postcard-ready view right at your doorstep. Step right from the balcony of your room and into the pool, a feature which has always delighted our guests.
